Slatington Dog Kennel Daycare Boarding & Play Program for Dogs
When Trifecta Kennels started in 1979, we made a commitment to build the best boarding kennel for dogs in the Poconos and Lehigh Valley. We’ve since grown into providing services for dogs far beyond that initial vision. We provide dog grooming services, doggie daycare, our own dog park, and very our training programs which are top-ranked.
Trifecta Kennels is the premier dog boarding & daycare facility in the Slatington area, and yet we keep our rates competitive so our neighbors and fans can make us their home away from home for their beautiful dogs. What really sets us apart is the fact that we work exclusively with dogs, and by making them our sole focus, we have tailored all of our services to expertly meet their needs.
While we provide boarding for those in the Slatington area who need full around the clock care, we also host a Doggy Day Care for those who need care just during work or school hours. We also provide short term playtime for your dog even while you’re just running errands. We have a full service dog grooming facility and after years of working with so many dogs and taking countless courses, our specialty has become dog training both here on our grounds and by offering a wide array of dog training programs you can check out.
Crates/Cages – Large Metal Pens Used in Dog Kennel Area for Your Pets
If left home alone for extended periods of time, dogs and puppies, especially, can get into a lot of trouble, so let us care for them if you need to be out during the day. They will get the interaction they crave and won’t get bored or anxious as they would being in a crate for too long. We highly encourage new Slatington area puppy owners to take our Puppy Basics class which helps educate new owners and new canine companions.
Most dogs thrive when they have the opportunity to be social and physically active. We’ve built a large enclosed dog park, play yards and runs on six acres of land near the Slatington area, so your dogs can be off the leash and have time to play. Our kennels are both clean and spacious. And we do have only full size kennels, not restrictive crates.
Our Dog Boarding & Daycare Clients
Each dog has individual needs depending on their breed and history. Therapy dogs which come through our training program will pass their evaluation often on the first try. If you proudly own a pure-bred show dog, as AKC judges we can share our expertise with you and get you on your way to the wins and places our clients regularly receive. If you have adopted a rescue dog through any of the Monroe or other local county dog adoption programs, you are aware that rescue dogs sometimes require some further rehabilitation to end aggressive behaviors. Come Command training as well as Rally Excellent classes are very popular a Trifecta where we also award certifications for Canine Good Citizens who complete our course.
From Beginner Basics which addresses house training and behavioral issues like jumping and excessive barking to our Advanced Obedience Dog Training, we take pleasure in providing a full range of dog training opportunities which highlight our dog behaviorist experience. Both group classes, or if you prefer, private trainings are available. To view our upcoming calendar of class times click here.
